On Sunday, November 4th, Santa Monica Lawn Bowls Club held its 2007 Veteran-Novice Triples tournament. Even though it was a triples event, scores were kept for individuals; teams were shuffled after each on the four 6-end games to keep competitors on their toes!

Congratulations go out to Kevin Westnott, who took first place. Brian Studwell and Max Wurwand tied for second place, and Jackie Stanley finished in fourth place. In addition to the prizes for top finishers, the prize for the best new bowler in the tournament was deservedly awarded to Russ Douglas. The tournament was a success by all accounts, with a fantastic turnout. Congratulations to all this year's winners!
